Javier Perez graduated from St. Felicitas in 2014 and continued his Catholic School education, as well as followed the footsteps of both his father and brother, (Mario Perez, Jr. St. Felicitas class of 2011) by graduating from Bishop O’Dowd Catholic High School in 2018. Like his dad and brother, played football where they defeated Valley View High School from Moreno Valley and took the Division 5-AA State Championship, a first in Bishop O'Dowd history. In addition to football, Javier also played freshman basketball, baseball for two years and rugby. Javier was a Scholar Athlete and honors student, credits St. Felicitas for providing him with the foundation to thrive. Javier has returned to St. Felicitas as a Youth Leader for future Confirmondi. Javier is currently attending the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), and is applying to schools for his postgraduate degree in Physical Therapy.
My name is Danielle Molina and I'm a St. Felicitas alum! I started at St. Felicitas when I was in kindergarten and graduated in the class of 2010. I graduated from Moreau Catholic High School in the class of 2014, and I recently graduated from UC Santa Cruz with the class of 2018 this past June majoring in Legal Studies and minoring in Education. Today, I work at UC Berkeley in Human Resources as an HR Generalist supporting multiple departments and managing the overall appointment process of Visiting Scholars, Visiting Student Researchers, Graduate Students, and Undergraduates. One of my favorite memories at St. Felicitas was celebrating St. Patrick's Day with Mrs. Cronin in the second grade. We got to build our own leprechaun traps at home and brought them to class to show to everyone. It was pretty awesome! St. Felicitas will always have a special place in my heart!
Clearly highschool is no problem for our 8th grade graduates! Class of 2016 Alumni (Left to Right) Catherine Cacho, Amalia Texiera, Nathaniel Natividad, Tyler Cabatan, and David Adamson(Back) were honored at the 1st Semester Honor Roll Assembly. All 5 St. Felicitas graduates that attended SJND were on the honor roll and 4 out of the 5 received high honors requiring a 3.75 or above GPA. Way to Go Falcons!!!!
My name is Gabriella Castillo. I graduated from SFCS in 2015. My brother Aaron also went here. And currently, my youngest brother Derek is in Kindergarten. I had a wonderful time at SFCS and I thought I would share a picture that I took at the cathedral with all of my old teachers. It was great seeing them. I am working as an Assistant Teacher because I love kids and I will be starting nursing school in January at University of SF.
Class of 2016 Alumni: Clarissa Guevarra, Jerome Kabiling, Chris Pangilinan & Sean Beggs at the 60th Anniversary Harvest Festival
Hi there! My name is Jessica Salas and I graduated from St. Felicitas in 2007. Following St. Felicitas I attended Moreau Catholic High School and graduated in 2011. For college I decided to stay close to home and attend the University of San Francisco to study biology. I really developed an interest in neuroscience while I was getting into my upper division coursework which resulted in a BS in biology with a minor in neuroscience in 2015. Following graduation I was unsure about pursuing an MD or PhD program so I returned to USF for my masters in biotechnology. I completed my masters program at the end of 2018 while working in the biotechnology field as a research associate at various companies. Although the biotech industry has given me great career experience, I am looking forward to applying to neuroscience PhD programs this Fall. I started at St. Felicitas in the 3rd grade and have been part of an incredibly nurturing community ever since. The teachers and faculty provided a safe place to learn and a safe space to develop as young adults- something I will always appreciate. Go Falcons!
I entered Saint Felicitas in 4th grade and graduated in 2005. From there I went to SJND in Alameda and graduated in 2009. My interests in biology, chemistry, and all the sciences, fostered by both my experiences in Saint Felicitas and SJND, drew me to study biochemistry at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. After graduating with my B.S., I decided to return to Cal Poly for graduate school to study regenerative medicine. This past year I received my Masters Degree and have since secured at job working at Grifols' diagnostics division in Emeryville. I work with a team of researchers developing/refining protein purification techniques. By optimizing the the yield of proteins, we can more efficiently manufacture Grifols' diagnostic tools.
Saint Felicitas was the start of my journey into life sciences and catholic school education. The values instilled, friendships formed, and lessons learned here have helped shape me into who I am today.
