I have been an active member at St. Felicitas School since 1994 when my daughter was first admitted to St. Felicitas and continued to volunteer through my son’s graduation in 2006. I took on many roles while they attended school including room parent from 1994 - 2006, PTG secretary from 1998 - 2000 and School Board Secretary from 2000-2006. I remained on School Board as a member at large from 2006 through 2013 when I became School Board President.
I have continued to serve at St. Felicitas without interruption because I believe in this school and the strong foundation it provides its students as well as the excellent staff and administration who take an active role in the successful transformation of your children. I am a strong believer that it takes a village to raise a child, and now as a community representative on the school board I plan to assist in this endeavor. Currently I am heading the enrollment committee on School Board and have taken on the task of starting a pre-school on site here at St. Felicitas. As a board member at large I feel I have an equitable interest in the success and interests of all of your children.
During my free time I managed to graduate with my Masters in Public Administration in 2013 and I serve on the Finance Committee at Moreau Catholic High School as well as a parent ambassador. Throughout my 30 year career with Alameda County I have taken on several leadership roles and initiated many new programs and improved county service. I have received various Board of Supervisors recognition awards as well as the John Raimondi service award at Moreau Catholic High School.
